In the morning, take a BC ferry via the Strait of Georgia to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. The city is located in a city at the southernmost tip of Vancouver Island. It is also a city full of British color. The luxury ferry is well-equipped with restaurants and gift shops. Pass by Fan Tan Alley, the narrowest commercial street in Chinatown on the island. Visit the British-style Victoria Inner Harbor, Canada Centennial Park, the Provincial Parliament Building or (at your own expense) the Royal BC Museum. Then go to Beacon Mountain Park and the starting point of the longest highway on earth - the Trans-Canada Highway [MILE 0]. At dusk, take the ferry back to Vancouver to end the day's exciting itinerary.
In the morning, the tour departs from Tsawwassen with BC Ferries to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, located in the south end of Vancouver Island. The ride takes 95 minutes. The luxury ferries provide full facilities including restaurants and gift shop. During the voyage , you can capture the beautiful scenery along Georgia Strait Coast at the upper deck or simply enjoy a cup of coffee at the coffee shop on board.
Upon arrival in Vancouver Island, the tour will proceed to the city of Victoria, and will go to the Victoria City Chinatown, first stop at the narrowest commercial street in Canada the Fan Tan Alley, for an understanding of the development history of Chinese in Canada. After passing by Chinatown's historic Gate of Harmonious Interest, next visit is Old British Style Inner Harbor tourist area. With the magnificent Fairmont Empress Hotel, the Royal BC Museum (optional) and the historic Neo-baroque building- Legislative Building along the way, the Victoria Inn Harbor never disappoints its guest with its beauty and relaxation. You can further choose to travel the area on foot or by carriage (optional). Afterwards tour move on to Beacon Hill Park with a stop at the “Mile Zero”- the marker is the start of the over 8,000km Trans-Canada Highway that spans the entire length of Canada. After lunch, we continuous journey with visit the century old Butchart Gardens. The Garden covers an area of 50 acres with numbers of theme garden planted with all kinds of flowers, begonia kiosks, and Sunken Garden. Sunken Garden is the most exciting district, originally a nest-shaped trap lime quarry converted to a garden covered with colorful flowers and ingenuity set of trees. Other theme gardens are the Concert Lawn, Rose Garden , Three Sturgeon Fountain, Japanese Garden, and Italian Garden.
After promenading the gardens, the tour will take the B.C. Ferry back to Vancouver in the late afternoon.
